Counter-ramped sights; grooved frontal sight blade, rear sight notch is circle-cornered w/ square cut-out apperture
Barrel is triangular shaped from frontal view, is two-piece interlinking. The bottom segment shifts when the slide is racked, the top part is static. Has 11 cocking serrations, spaced about 3mm apart. “RETAY EAGLE X” printed on left front. Serial code on the right side of the static part of the slide assembly, “by Retay Arms, Turkey” and “Cal. 9mmP.A.K” on the right side
Hammer curves upwards, thins out. Horizontally grooved. Has dished-out space to neatly fit the thumb into.
Slide catch is spring loaded and lengthy, fits sharp triangular corner cut-out notch in slide. Automatically catches slide when slide is racked and gun is empty
Takedown lever on the right side, hinges 90 degrees downward at the rear to enable removal of slide
Safety is ambidextrous; grooved pronounced part that is pushed upwards to put the gun into fire, hinges downward to go into safe. When gun is racked while safe is engaged, the safety disengages. Hammer does’t actuate when on safe
Has pronounced beaver tail to prevent hammer bite
Wrap-around grip panel, fits around the rear and the sides. Grips are stippled w/ circled eaggle head logo in the middle of the panels. Magazine release button is a round, domed piece.
Magazine is has three holes for approximation of rounds loaded therein. Has flat metal buttplate that leaves a flush finish on bottom of handle
